Sapphire Circle Emergency Assistance Grant
We are all currently facing an overwhelming amount of change and uncertainty as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. While we don't know what is to come in the days and weeks ahead, one thing we can find comfort in is the perpetuity of Phi Sigma Sigma. For many the friendships and bonds created through Phi Sigma Sigma remain pillars of stability in these uncertain times. At times like this, we are extra thankful to have the love and support of our Phi Sigma Sigma sisters!
Our Founders were no strangers to challenges and uncertainty. However it is their unwavering strength and dedication to helping others through that became the foundation of our sisterhood. Over the past few weeks, I've been in awe of the strength and resiliency of our sisters," said Grand Archon. Katie Vlietstra Wonnenberg. " I am proud to be part of an organization that provides stability for our and adapts to their needs, whether that’s providing opportunities for engagement and relationship building, connecting them with resources or providing financial support."
As we continue our Founders' legacy we look for ways to live out our Twin Ideals - "the brotherhood of man and the alleviation of the world's pain." We understand some of our sisters are facing financial hardships. In an effort to ease some of the burden, we're introducing the Sapphire Circle Emergency Assistance Grant to provide financial assistance to Phi Sigma Sigma alumnae and collegians in need.
"Through the continued support of our donors, the Sapphire Circle Emergency Assistance Grant will enable us to directly impact our members and help ease their financial burdens and provide our sisters with hope during life's most difficult moments," said Vanessa Freeman Zerhusen, president of the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation.
If you are looking for a way to help alleviate some of your sisters' pain during this challenging time, consider supporting the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation. Make a gift today. As we continue to navigate these challenges and adjustments over the coming days and weeks, remember we all have the opportunity to make an impact. By living out the values of our Founders, looking for ways to alleviate the world's pain in our communities and supporting our sisters, we can and will make a difference.
